Alberto

Meet Alberto Camarena

Sheet Metal Mechanic is a position that requires technical knowledge and experience. Luckily for us, our Sheet Metal Mechanic Alberto Camarena loves his job, and the company he works for. “Whatever you do, love it. All else will fall into place”. These are Alberto’s words of wisdom to the new generation of workers that are learning their way in our industry. Also, you have to have “Pride”. Pride in what you do to ensure that you do it well. Having “Pride” is Alberto’s favorite Live the T attribute! He takes this seriously and holds himself to a high standard with his work. Alberto came to Trimco in November of 2014 and was very familiar with the company. He worked as a vendor close to Trimco that had to shut its doors, however Trimco was happy to have him come on board!

Alberto has been fortunate that he has not faced too many challenges that he could not overcome. The latest one was learning how to operate the C & C machine that he is responsible for. Alberto needed to dust off his old books and re-learn programming from his schooling days. However, he quickly renewed his passion for learning and working with a new skill!

When asked why Alberto has stayed with Trimco he said simply “because I love it here! This is a really good company to work for”. He also said that he’ll stay at Trimco until he gets kicked out (which we do not plan on doing!) One of his favorite days with Trimco was getting to see the new building that the company moved into in the summer of 2016. He said that it just made you feel good and excited to work! In fact, Alberto is so excited to work here in Oceanside, that after 2.5 years of commuting over 155 miles each day to work, he and his wife are finally moving just a few towns away!

When Alberto is not at work, he can be found at home with his family. He says that his children, 2 beautiful girls that have grown up and moved out, love to come home and visit him. When they are home they are always asking him to make them pancakes! “I make excellent pancakes!” He makes them from scratch, and apparently are a family favorite!

Alberto, we are thankful for all that you do, and for having you be a part of the Trimco family!!!
